Secret to Overcoming Fear
Saturday, August 28th, 2010Overcoming Workplace Stress
Thursday, August 5th, 2010Stress and an occasional feeling of overwhelm is a natural byproduct of a successful business. Yes, we are fortunate to have all the opportunities this business for us. And yes, sometimes it is impossible to make wise use of our time and resources. Thus, the result is inevitable: Stress! We distinguish between primary, the situation, the stress of short-term and long-term levels of accumulated stress. The purpose of this paper is to help you immediately with the first type of stress. To give you the tools you already have, but we all do not use enough. In addition, my High-Impact Business Coaching Form allows you to grow successful businesses while creating rich, balanced lives and eliminate the second type of long, very damaging stress. But it’s not overnight that any transformation takes time, effort and commitment. So this article is to help you find instant relief. To find ways to bust your sense of “too-well-done” immediately, within seconds. I’ll start with a statement a little strange: “Believe and you will see.” This concept seems odd, now part of a highly successful Stress Reduction at the Stanford School of Medicine of the University. For continuing education, I recommend “Stress Free for Good” – 10 life skills scientifically proven health and happiness “by Dr. Fred Luskin and Dr. Kenneth Pelletier. An interesting fact about the mind is that the brain has absolutely no actual connection to reality. It relies on chemical signals from other organs to decide what happens in the real world. The fact that the brain is ignoring the reality, that is precisely what makes him so susceptible to suggestion. Harvard Professor Jonathan B. Cohen has shown that imagining the execution of an activity, and even just to see someone run, the fires of same neurotransmitters and the same way that actually performs the activity “In sports, visualization has been considered an essential tool for decades. In a 1984 survey of 235 Canadian Olympians who are preparing for the Games, 99 percent of them were from images. “There is nobody who does not use images,” said Rebecca Smith, an assistant clinical research in sport psychology at the Olympic Training Center U.S. Colorado. No professional athlete has ever won the top spot coming into view by the last and yet we do so often in our business. Since the principle is called “Seeing the good in others,” this that comes to mind for you? The saying is old, but listen again: “Seeing the good in others”, is about to see in your eyes, is not it? How many times do we prefer to blame others for our stress? How many times do we like talking behind someone better find the good in others? So then how does this affect our leadership capabilities? Since the concept of “seeing the good in others” coincides with the fifth chapter in my book: The Art of Success by Design “, which deals with leadership, it is not surprising that our ability to see the good in others is a trait highly effective as a leader of your small business. Why? Well, think about it. If we let go of our regular trends trial and take a 100% commitment to take responsibility for our lives (which means no blame, always), coupled with the ability to see the best qualities of our team members, what can we do? Yes, you can see different results. Why, because our change of attitude, change our thoughts, our body language changes. Those who work for you feel safe and where the feeling of security, there is no limit to creativity and productivity. Have you noticed the disabling effects of stress on the performance of your? It is no different for your staff. They also stressed, and even more stressed when you feel criticized and judged. It hinders their ability to work in their area higher performance for you. I suppose you determine what I am proposing here. Yes, a win-win! Seeing the good in others helps your stress level down since you continue to trust that things done and everyone does his best, your positive actions based on this attitude a big influence your brain, and that a crucial consequence your employees or support staff can continue working in a stress free environment by giving their best to turn turn. Secret Number 1: Practice your compassion. Put yourself in their shoes for just a second. Do you really know what happens in their lives? Do you know if they are deadly afraid of losing their jobs? Do you know if they feel empowered and equipped to do their job properly? What do you know about their fear of battle of life? This does not mean being soft and reduce your level of performance. No, quite the contrary. By opening towards an environment where fear and stress is not the engine, you invest your time wisely. Having a staff that lives with stress and fear is a waste of your money. Nothing is done, no new ideas come up, no responsibility is taken when the fear and stress present. If you want to create a team that is loyal, productive, innovative and equipped for your business to succeed in a climate where a team of A + will be harder and harder to find, your efforts to practice compassion is essential for sustainable business success. Ok, with that road, I want to give you another secret of 10 seconds: He smiled. Yes, you heard me, smiling. So smile right now, hold for 10 seconds. Really smile, laugh! you feel better, what I do. If it makes you feel better, how do you think the recipient feels that smile? How do you feel when you meet someone who just for fun, throw you a smile? “Yes, I thought… very good. Ok, practice compassion and smile more often more random, more just for fun, then good for business, good for employee retention and good for your stress management. The funny thing is that you knew that already, right? We and yet sometimes we forget. That’s because we’re stressed. Yes, that’s why. One of my customers reported that it has attracted a lot “nicer” customers for his change of attitude and another customer said “seeing the good in people” has significantly reduced anxiety. Remember, as far as Napoleon Hill, famous author of “Think and Grow Rich” said: “Man alone has the power to transform his thoughts into physical reality, man alone can dream and make his dreams. “As they say: The war is not the path to peace, peace is. Do not let your thoughts take you to a war zone driven by fear and doubt. Let your attitude, you guide the thoughts that makes you feel connected, and you can reduce your stress levels and make other people feel safe and cared for. There is no possible negative results and many powerful results. Do we need scientific evidence to that? No, just give it a try tonight to check-out line at the store or smile to someone at a red light, especially when you feel tired, burned, fog in the head. I can promise that even a brief smile back allowing your attitude at home with your family or friends. Do not waste a minute of practice all the above or maybe just one but do it and do often. Antistress is guaranteed.
