Soothing, relaxing, meditation music for stress relief

Friday, December 31st, 2010

Entitled “Cumulous”, I composed this music this morning for my wife’s Workplace Wellness class, for a sleep and relaxation project that she was putting together. I decided to put some footage I took of Pink Lake in Gatineau, Quebec. It was the most beautiful place on earth my wife and I have ever seen. Anyway, I’m planning on adding this to my cd as well (which is already done, although I couldn’t help but include it.) If you’ve had a stressful day and need an escape, give this a view. Looks great in HD quality too.

Relaxing Music & Ocean Waves, “Reflections” from Sounds of Kauai

Sunday, November 14th, 2010

Beautiful meditative scenes of Kauai’s rugged shoreline out to Mahalepu in HD. The music is a song called Reflections from my instrumental album Sounds of Kauai (Available at Amazon, CDbaby, and iTunes). I came across this tidepool during a hike. While the sun illuminated the boulders on one side, the other side shaded the pool, which allowed the lighted rocks to reflect on its surface. Every now and then a bigger set of waves would come through, sending ripples through the pool and blurring the mirrored surface. Slowly the reflections refocus, making the spot one of my favorites. Check out my other videos for more of the music from my album Sounds of Kauai. The album features all original soothing classical guitar backed with nature sounds. Sounds of Kauai is also available at www.soundsofkauai.com (click the buy now above the image). My main website is still under construction so if you like the music check back in a couple months for more pictures, info, nature albums and more. Thank you for your support and feedback!!! Enjoy – Dan

HEALTH – Get ready for some good vibrations…this week we’re looking at the power of music on the mind the muscles, and our overall well being You’ll see how, with the help of a violinist’s bow, surgeons are able to pin point the parts of the brain that are malfunctioning. Reducing stress, lowering blood pressure and even helping Alzheimer’s patients to remember we’ll be showing you how music is not just the food of love but of life itself. However like all good things a little goes a long way and doctors warn against the effects of binge listening.

Leave the car at Jens, At the station off she sends, Me on a so slow train Outside it starts to rain, A rainbow comes far away, My mind it starts to stray, At the airport I arrive, Now I start to feel alive. Check my baggage in, Terrorist shits af***in sin, Chill with a beer or three, Flight costs one penny, Plane wheels throw up spray, My mind starts to stray, Picked up by a friend, With a bass for me to lend. A Kicking beat we start to play, And my mind it never strays.
