Hypnosis Video 3

Monday, October 11th, 2010

The purpose of this video is to help you experience a relaxing hypnotic trance. Before you begin, its recommended that you loosen any tight clothing, including your belt, watch and shoes. This induction method uses a very light massage to help one enter into a trance. When administering the massage to yourself, do not press too hard on your neck, as this could cause some damage. To help reduce friction, I would recommend using a drop or two of massage oil on your neck. At the end of the video, I make a suggestion designed to keep feelings of relaxation and a lack of stress with the listener when awake. Please let me know how well this suggestion works. I’m assuming youre watching this video from home. If you are not, and happen to be driving or operating heavy equipment, than do yourself a favor and save this video until you are in a safer place to experience hypnosis. Have fun. So how do we deal with pain after the stress has already done its dirty work. Popping is an analgesic, but the pills are packed with analgesic side effects. Therefore, a better remedy would be something that is simple, natural, non-invasive and without side effects, something like self-hypnosis. How does self-hypnosis alleviate pain? Self-hypnosis is a therapy that is to communicate with your subconscious mind and release the stored pain deeply causing negative emotions. The subconscious mind understands the language of images and works of self-hypnosis by talking in the language of the unconscious. The following exercise self-hypnosis can help relieve pain associated with migraine:

· Sit or lie in a comfortable position

· Close your eyes

· Take a few deep breaths

· Now you focus on your breathing

· Concentration you all in-breath and out-breath

· Now, imagine a beam of white light entering your body from the top of your head

· Leave this journey to every part of your body

· Feel it cleansing your body of all the pain and anguish stored

· Now imagine that white light is to let your body from the soles of your feet, carrying away all your stress and anxiety with it

· By now you will be in a very relaxed

· Now focus on the part of your head that hurts

· View this pain like a big red ball

First · Breathing deep

· Imagine that the ball shrinks when you exhale

· Sense your pain decreases with the size of the ball

· Continue this exercise until the ball disappears

• The long with the ball, your pain will also either disappear or become much more bearable

Sometimes when the pain is, it can be difficult to focus on the situation improves or display, so it’s a good idea to record your voice on tape, read the steps listed above that instructions and make sure you give adequate time spacing of at least 2-3 minutes between each step. Hypnosis for Stress Relief – Open Your Mind to Tranquility

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

Hypnosis for stress relief is a technique worth trying if you suffer from anxiety and tension. Learning how to reprogram your subconscious mind is the key. Anxious and negative thinking can be transformed by feeding the subconscious positive images and messages.

Everyone thinks and acts from a conscious and subconscious perspective. The conscious mind is rational and processes information through the five senses. The subconscious mind is impulsive and comes to conclusions using memories, emotions and experiences.

The subconscious mind is the root of worries, fears, anxiety, bad habits, negative thinking and limiting beliefs. All of these stress-causing attributes are a product of what we have been told by family, society, religion, media in addition to a lack of self esteem.

Characteristics either acquired or inherent can be transformed through hypnosis. This process is so effective because it changes negative thoughts and actions where they are formed. By transforming the negative into positive, self-defeating behavior and stress can be eliminated. Using hypnosis for stress relief is a permanent solution to self-defeating thoughts and actions.

How does hypnosis for stress relief work? There are two main parts to hypnosis session. One is deep relaxation and the other planting positive messages and images. The subconscious mind is extremely receptive to new programming in a deeply relaxed state. This is called a “trance” state. Positive messages such as, “My mind is calm and clear” or “My self esteem is overflowing” or “My craving for nicotine is gone” can be impressed on the subconscious mind. When the session is complete, one is brought out of the trance state to the conscious state.

Besides stress relief, the benefits of hypnosis include:

· Elimination of self-defeating behavior

· Ending addictions

· Increasing self esteem

· Improving health and well-being

· Sharpening mental focus

· Rejuvenation and increased energy

· Strengthening of relationships

· Memory recall

Some famous people who have used hypnosis include: Lord Tennyson, Mozart, George Washington Carver, Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. These visionaries are said to have received inspiration while in a hypnotic state.

If you are willing to give hypnosis for stress relief a try, you can find a qualified hypnotist or hypnotherapist to guide you. Or, you can choose the self-hypnosis route. You can purchase CDs or downloads that take you through a hypnosis session. The sessions are targeted to your desired outcome. Whether it be stress relief, improved health, better relationships, etc. , you will make great improvements by reprogramming your subconscious mind.

Stress Management with Hypnosis and Yoga

Monday, May 17th, 2010

Stress symptoms can range anywhere from undereating to overeating, sleeping to much to sleeping to little, constant worrying to unhappiness and depression.
Stress can effect every part of the body and produce negative physical, mental and emotional symptoms. One biological effect of chronic stress is weight gain. Weight loss can be an even bigger challenge for people with chronic stress.
Chronic stress-in tandem with a junk food diet-can lay fat on your belly. Scientist at George town University Medical Center in Washington and in Australia and Slovakia have shown in mice that stress activates the hormone neuropeptide Y (NPY), which leads to fat accumulation.
The findings, in July’s Nature Medicine have raised hopes that NPY could be manipulated to treat obesity. Source: AARP BULLETIN
With all the new research pointing towards an obesity epidemic here in America, parallels can also be drawn between the relationship of unhealthy lifestyles and stress. People tend to take worst care of themselves due to their apathetic and pessimistic outlook on life when they are stressed out, which in turn will cause lack of motivation to exercise or be active and eat right, so stress management is vital for optimal health and well-being.
Most people spend their lives avoiding pain and seeking pleasure in order to find that comfort zone where stress is best well managed. If we fall out of that comfort zone due to a stressful situation or event, we reach for something to make us feel better like sugary foods, or a drink and a smoke etc.
More people are leaning towards natural remedies, free of drugs or quick fix solutions that uaually fail in the long run.
Exercise in itself can relieve stress by releasing chemicals (endorphines) in the brain that will put you in an uplifting mood. But exercise alone won’t cure stress related weight gain, you also need to want to take better care of yourself with healthier food choices, plus a mental and emotional transformation.
Sometimes out of the ordinary natural remedies are best and hypnosis and yoga are becoming a mainstream solution to relieve people from stress related weight gain and every day anxiety symptoms, especially since both can be taught and performed alone and at home.
Unfortunately, many individuals have a hard time sticking to a conventional diet, especially since it usually involves elliminating a lot of your favorite foods and requires a lot of dedication not only to a strict diet but a full healthy diet program needs to include exercise also.
Hypnosis and yoga are both being recognized for their general health and curative benefits for stress symptoms such as emotional overeating or the inability to get motivated for exercise or physical activity.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, in which you enter a trance-like state.
Hypnosis only works on willing participants and your success will depend entirely on your desire to achieve your treatment goal.
During hypnosis, you are fully awake, even though you are unaware of what is going on around you. It’s similar to when you daydream or become totally immersed in a book or movie.
For many years hypnosis was frowned down upon as a theatrical parlor trick exploited by charlatans, but western medicine has shown a fascination in its potential and has since become a useful tool in helping people lose weight, quit smoking, help relieve chronic pain and also used to motivate or extinguish phobias and fears.
The root of success with hypnosis for weight loss is by altering your state of mind that will elliminate food cravings and make you want to take care of yourself by eating healthy foods and staying away from the fattening foods plus a sudden desire to exercise and get physically active.
There is no magic to hypnosis, only the individuals use of a natural physical state that influences your subconscious that is only effective if it’s something you truly desire.
What Is Yoga?
Yoga is a system of holistic health originating in India over 5000 years ago. Yoga is the practice of balancing the mind, body and spirit enabeling the participants to feel more powerful, confident and balanced.
There are many forms of yoga, with Hatha encompassing the many physical types of yoga. “Ashtanga”, which means “eight limbs”, being the most physical-kind, linking “asanas” (postures) that are both physical and powerful.
A more modern term used today is “Power Yoga” and is being utilized in many of the gyms and workout classes in America due to it’s vigorous and physically demanding constant poses. Because of the constant movement (flow) Power Yoga helps fortify both mind and body while increasing your heart rate and your flexibility.
For a complete fitness regimen of yoga only, it must be vigouros enough and long enough to have a cardio, fat burning, weight loss result.
With the stress relief and physical benefits associated with yoga and exercise, many people are combining yoga with other forms of exercise such as aerobics, walking and many other forms of fat burning activity workouts.
Yoga also needs to be performed on a regular basis to have a long term lasting effect. And similar to starting an exercise regimen for the first time, you will need to perform less intense yoga poses in the beginning, so you dont’ hurt yourself.
So, both hypnosis and yoga are truly effective alternatives to supplements and drugs for weight loss or any stress symptom, providing a deep willingness is present . The rewards will be proportionate to your efforts.
