Consequently, it suffers from various physical and mental disorders. Since women are much more sensitive than men, they get more stressed than men.

There are basically three types of stress defined in medical terms:
Acute stress is the most common form of stress. The symptoms of acute stress headaches normal, irritation, rapid heartbeat and others. But they are treatable.
Episodic acute stress is another type of stress that is visible only if a person suffers from headaches, chest pain, hyper tension and others. It takes several months to be processed.
Chronic stress is stress of grinding that destroys life. It may gradually lead to a heart attack, suicide, violence, etc.
In addition, the results of stress insomnia, menopause, abnormal bleeding during menstruation, fertility problems etc. It causes difficulty concentrating, short temperedness, disinterest in sex and finally depression.
Women should do something to relieve stress. If it succeeds, it will certainly impact his life and work positive. These steps must be followed to achieve a great mental satisfaction.
• You should try to prioritize the tasks that really matter and set aside those that are not too important. This way, you can save a lot of energy.

Biofeedback is useful because you actually get visual information on what signals the body gives you (a bit like when you climb a ladder and you will see how much you weigh).
Although the word seems a little confused, just think of biology. Most of us have gone through a biology class at some point in our life is all about the body and how it works. Most biofeedback devices using a multi-media display, such as a computer screen or monitor, to “feed back” information to the user. Every system in your body that can effectively be controlled can be controlled with enough practice.
Once a person learns that they can control these functions, they can also deal with physical ailments. This is a new age of beauty, and people are now increasingly asked to assume responsibility for maintaining their own health. In fact, many insurance companies now have programs that are available to help people determine their health and what they must do to get healthier – go figure!
So how does it work? You sit and are connected to the biofeedback device. This could be as easy as putting something on one or two fingers, or important that the sensors had blocked the entire body (as is the case with the sleep studies). These will measure the electrical signals. Techniques vary, but some machines have lights or sounds that leave as your muscles or you’ll be more stressed. The object is for you to try to do the flashing, or sound, to slow or stop or control and move objects on the screen. This allows you to see what habits you have formed to deal with stress, which is the main cause of pain or illness.
People have simply forgotten how to relax, and biofeedback is the key to bring relaxation behind the front of the mind, and set it as an important goal. Once you learn to control your own functions, and the brain has found a better way to operate, it becomes natural and your bad habits are changed! You can now relax easier, and we have learned to control pain. You get better pain control in practice.
So if you hear all the talk that happens, ask your doctor or health professional if biofeedback could be good for you. Or, if you want to step slowly, try a biofeedback computer game and see what happens. The game might actually be more fun than being in a doctor’s office, and if it works, you just saved yourself a lot of money!

The demands of modern life require us to be constantly plugged in through e-mail, cell phones, pagers, and Blackberry devices. You might feel as if your senses are constantly being bombarded, both at work and at home. As a result, stress might have led you to the breaking point.
But there is a great universal stress relieve one that is close to everyone.Nature offers bountiful opportunities for relieving stress. It might seem old-fashioned to commune with nature,but it can be incredibly cathartic, decreasing your stress level immeasurably.Nature is one of God’s beautiful creation.
First, you must be willing to take the time to drink in nature and all its beauty. Often, we feel overwhelmed by commitment – so overwhelmed, in fact, that we become guilty if we take time out for ourselves. By experiencing the beauty of nature, we can become more relaxed and better able to take on life’s challenges.
In the winter, we can take brisk walks through the snow, watching the flakes delicately float down to earth. We can be energized by the brisk winds and frigid temperatures. We can also gain a certain amount of confidence in battling the elements, helping to relieve our stress level.
In spring, we can enjoy the true riches of nature. We can experience the scent of flowers just beginning to bloom the loveliness of plants that have survived winter’s scourge and listen to the birds chirping in the trees. Gazing at trees just beginning to bud can be incredibly soothing after a stressful day on the job.
Meanwhile, in the summer, we can experience nature at its most vibrant. We can enjoy the scent of the grass after the lawn has just been mowed and watch the trees gently waving in the summer breeze. We can revel in the sun’s rays, or enjoy the refreshment of a summer shower. Just a few minutes in the outdoors can reduce our stress level dramatically.
There are also a number of nature-related activities we can engage in in order to relax. For instance, hiking offers a tremendous opportunity to see the splendor of nature up close and personal. Skiing allows us to enjoy winter’s beauty, while a game of Frisbee can be a tremendous lift on a summer afternoon. Because nature offers such a feast for the senses, enjoying the outdoors can bring a sense of calm and tranquility to our lives that few other things can.
Some people have found a relaxing nature-related hobby in gardening. Planting flowers, trimming bushes, and weeding can help to relax both the mind and the body. Others have found that yard work can help to reduce stress. Such activities as mowing the lawn, raking leaves, or shoveling snow can help to remove us from sources of stress, giving us a much-needed break.
You may be so inspired by nature that you write poetry about the things you see and hear. Such writing can be tremendously cathartic, especially when undertaken outdoors. Lying in a chaise lounge under a tree, composing sonnets about flowers, can get your creative juices flowing and lower your stress level in the process.
You might be surprised how therapeutic nature can be. It can re-awaken your senses, allowing you to see things you might have missed before. It can demonstrate to you the beauty of creation and give you a renewed vitality for life. It can provide you with a welcome sanctuary from the world of blaring stereos and non-stop TV chatter.
Even if you don’t consider yourself a nature lover, brief periods outdoors can give you a new sense of purpose. With such a positive outlook, your ability to handle stress will be enhanced. In essence, spending a few moments outdoors is like taking a mini-vacation from the rigors of your daily life.
The Physical Stress Test – A Great Stress Management Tool!

For a successful treatment a successful diagnosis of the problem is needed, as with medical field as well. The physical stress test is one of the most popular tests to get an idea of a client’s stress level. Stress does manifest itself in the physical body, more often than not. Stress shows up in the body as illnesses and ailments. These can be headaches like migraines, and other forms like sweaty hands or nausea. The physical stress test is used to indicate the level of stress that such patients undergo, and it has proved reliable over the years.
In order to pose as a stress management tools, the physical stress test involves the use of evaluating the responses of patients against a list of physical illnesses and ailments, in a grid pattern. About forty such ailments are mentioned on the pattern. The test involves a point rating system to estimate the stress a person is undergoing. Points between 40 and 75 tell us the patient is undergoing less stress. 75 to 100 points indicate moderate stress, 100 to 150 indicates high stress and anything above that calls for immediate help.
Once the therapist has determined the stress level using the physical stress test; he moves on to psychological questions which also pose as an indicator of stress level. These questions are generally about the patient’s personal points of view about life.
When we are dealing with stress management we are actually dealing with factors that initiate the stress, which are not always physical. True, some physical factors like biological agents and the temperature could cause stress. But more often than not when we are dealing with stress, we are dealing with psychological stress agents that initiate the stress. When the brain undergoes stress, its affects are manifested in various body parts as physical ailments.
The physical and psychological tests mentioned above are both time-tested stress tests and can well stand on their own. However, when a psychologist feels the need he may use both tests to confirm his readings. He may do that for example, when the stress level readings seem unusually high or low.
The identification of stress factors is not difficult at all and most of us could well do it for our selves. However, it is sometimes difficult to analyze your own self, analyzing another person is always easier. Hence we resort to meeting psychologists and counselors regarding the same. Do not be fearful or feel ashamed that you may have to meet a counselor to handle your stress. There is not one among us who does not feel stress, and it is healthy that you are aiming to handle this in your life.
