I have had an Asenodine stress test now every year for the past 3 years. The previous two years th dobutamine caused me severe anxiety for a short period of time, like 5 minutes. I thought I was dying. Yesterday’s test was easier, a new drug was used and the effects lasted about 60 seconds and it was over. Now I will have to wait for the evaluation which will come tomorrow.

This was very interesting and informative. It was very useful to me as I have started working in a department in the UK which does Thallium scanning. We use the threadmill or an exercise bike and also use adenosine, or dobutamine. Thankyou very much for posting this.
