Stress at Work Place

Stress at work place is common and costly problems for companies. Companies are not taking enough steps in reducing work stress.

Work place stress is combination of both external and internal stressors. Job satisfaction, negative productivity and increased conflicts lead to unstoppable job stress and burnout. Ignoring stress symptoms is not the best approach of managing your work stress because it could lead to depression.  Be in charge of your well being and take steps to manage the level of your job stress.

External StressorsEmployees tend to ignore these External Stressors because they have misconceptions that these stressors are with little worth or it is just common in workplace; like a not working printer, messy table and unorganized files. Examining and identifying external causes of stress is an important step in stress management.

Internal StressorsInternal Stressors are not your environment but it is the way you perceive circumstances at work. A negative feeling that is considered as internal stressor is job dissatisfaction and this leads to irritabilities, feeling unappreciated and uncompensated for doing a good job.

 

Change your attentionYou can not afford to lose your job during this really stressful economic turmoil. Learning how to cope with stress at work is a must for stressed out employees. You cannot change all things but you can change your perceptions in life.
