I agree, women are the biggest backstabbing, spineless, ass-kissing snakes (and I’m a woman). Why is that? Low self-esteem? I find I like other strong women. The weak ones are the worst bullies and the biggest cowards. Unfortunately, they are the majority. If you’re pretty, smart, and confident, watch out! “It” hates pretty.

I think I know just how you feel. Sad to say I’m 49 years old and work still sucks, or if not the work – the people. I’ve had only a few jobs for short periods of time that I liked (National Park work was the best) but everything else, the office politics, the dress codes, the sucking up to bosses. I’ve been at my current job six years and have been passed over for promotion all four times I applied. I don’t kiss up, but I’m not rebellious either. I do my work well. You’ve a right to vent!
How was it when you quit that bad place for you? What did you tell them? What was the thing that pushed you over the edge and made you quit?
Going to college to get my degree in Colorado to enable me to do the career that I love (in neurology/neuroscience) and working part time (maybe full time later) doing security for the missle defense agency.
What are you doing now?

im employed full time (welder/mechanic) at a company in the canadian oil sands that is desperate for workers, & i havent worked a full week so far this year,i call in sick at least twice a week, ive even called in & said flat out “i’m not coming to work today, im going drinking”… & my boss has never respected me more!!! I think he might even have a “man crush” on me! > point being, -Be An Asshole- make your superiors at work feel smaller than you (because 99% of the time they are)
