basically you you are afraid of the feaar itself.
you may want to try and overcome the fear by inviting people to your house, you may want to hangout from time to time in order for you to see that it is safe. then you can invite new people to join the events or go to them :) anyway there is no other way to overcome an Anxiety other than facing the problem or letting it go!

I had suffered from horrible PTSD symptoms for over 20 yrs. Childhood sexual trauma then same in military. All those yrs of soaking wet flashback nightmares.17 months ago Gary C taught us EFT (disabled vets) I have not had a single nightmare in 17 months, no more anti-depressants, no Anxiety attacks. It is like being given a new life. I’m a work in progress but oh, so much better. We call this stuff alternative Medicine. 5000 yrs of tried and true therapies w/o drugs. EFT works!!

I almost lost my life in a grueling horrifying way due to benzodiazypines. These are the main drugs used to treat anxiety. They are also sometimes used to treat sleep disorders or drugs that are very similar with similar side effects are used to treat the sleep issues. The hell I went through because of the God forsaken benzodiazypines is beyond discription. For further evidence type benzodiazypine withdrawal into this search engine. You will see some horrors. Theres herbs/vitamins you can use.

For anyone who suffers anxiety or even other emotional issues such as depression it may be well worth your while to research Somatic Trauma Resolution founded by Peter Levine. Even if you haven’t been traumatized beyond the normal trauma we all go through if you can learn this either on your own or with the help of a practictioner you’re life may change. Another thing that may be well worth your while to learn by yourself or with the assistance of a practioner is the Emotional Freedom Technique

i’ve had that passenger feeling too..maybe it’s because of rutine, it happens to everyone. just try to look for more things that you can like or do, or maybe meet more people, go on, don’t give up :)

I’m going through the same exact things you are dealing with right now, truthbunny! I see you posted this 2 months ago, so maybe things are better for you now, a month ago I tried to kill myself because I couldn’t handle the sadness & the feelings of “dume & glume”, that something bad was going to happen, I’m just waiting for it to start, So I felt like death would be better than what I am feeling everyday! Now I still haven’t found a doctor yet, I just hope the help is out there for us both!

  20. chris3443 says:

I sometimes wonder if everyone has that “passenger” feeling but only some people are willing to admit it. I hope you can find your place in life.

  21. truthbunny says:

im not sure what my problem is, im not bipolar because i never feel highs, just a constant sadness. Im healthy and everything but i just dont care about anything, its like im a passenger in my own body, just going through the motions and waiting until everything finally stops, I dont want to feel like this, im a good person, yet i cannot shake it

Yes I agree with the anxiety regarding the health. But how does one fight the anxiety without drugs?
